Due to carriageway resurfacing, Hunter Street will be closed to traffic from Thursday, 20 March 2025 for one week.
As a result, Docherty’s Town Bus Service 49 will not be able to operate along Hunter Street during the closure, but will still serve Elcho Green and Benton Road.
Residents along Hunter Street will be able to board/alight the Town Bus on Benton Road or the High Street.
