Welcome to the web site of the Auchterarder Community Bus Group (ACBuG), a charity which operated the Auchterarder Town Bus service from August 2019 until April 2025.
A major organisational change to the operation of the Auchterarder Town Bus Service took place with effect from Monday 21 April 2025 with Perth & Kinross Council’s Public Transport Unit taking over full responsibility for the service. When ACBuG was set up the expectation was that ACBuG would run the service for a period to establish the on-going demand so that the Council would step in and directly fund it like the Town Services in Crieff and Blairgowrie. ACBuG are pleased that the Council have agreed to run the service.
